We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing and installing front-wheel and rear-wheel drive transmissions. This role requires precision, mechanical expertise, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:

Remove and install front-wheel and rear-wheel drive transmissions efficiently and safely

Diagnose transmission issues and communicate needed repairs

Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Provide accurate documentation of work performed

Work with minimal supervision and demonstrate reliability and attention to detail
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a transmission mechanic

Proven ability to remove and install FWD and RWD transmissions

Must have own tools
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
-
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions
