Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician for an apartment complex in Newport, TN. This is a 1st shift position offering steady, full-time hours and the opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and well-kept community for residents.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas

Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner

Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance issues

Prepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers)

Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and storage areas

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
Qualifications

Previous property maintenance or general maintenance experience preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Strong problem-solving skills

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
