IT Intern
Position Summary
The IT Intern is responsible for providing front-line technical support to end users, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and technical assistance both on-site and remotely across multiple locations. This role requires strong customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for end users
- Deploy and redeploy computers and workstations as needed
- Image and configure computers
- Install and troubleshoot software applications
- Configure and support printers and peripheral devices
- Maintain accurate technical documentation of installed equipment
- Manage and triage service requests and incidents through a ticketing system
- Work with users to identify hardware, software, and system requirements
- Complete assigned technical projects with clear and professional communication throughout the process
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with the following is preferred:
- Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11
- Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Server 2012 and newer
- Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO)
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
(Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree)
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
