Counter Sales / Shop Helper
Location: Morristown, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $21.00–$25.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Are you looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with a growing industrial supplier? We are seeking a motivated Counter Sales / Shop Helper to join a leading rubber and gasket wholesale supply company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has hands-on fabrication experience, and takes pride in delivering quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and over the phone
- Assist customers with product selection and order processing
- Fabricate rubber, gasket, and industrial products to customer specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
- Prepare customer orders for pickup and shipment
- Maintain inventory and stock materials
- Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe
- Enter orders and maintain accurate records using computer systems
- Assist with general warehouse and shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
