Employee Relations Specialist
Pay: $18-22 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate Opening Available
We are seeking a professional and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. This role will be responsible for handling employee relations matters, conflict resolution, investigations, and supporting all day-to-day Human Resources functions. The ideal candidate will be approachable, organized, and experienced in maintaining a positive and compliant workplace environment. Bilingual candidates are preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Handle employee relations concerns, workplace conflicts, and complaint investigations
- Provide conflict resolution support and guidance to employees and management
- Assist with onboarding, employee documentation, benefits, and HR compliance
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Support recruiting, interviewing, and new hire orientation processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
- Assist with disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations when necessary
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
Qualifications:
- Previous Human Resources experience required
- Experience handling employee relations and conflict resolution strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems is a plus
