Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Industrial Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling large-scale industrial equipment and components in a fast-paced, heavy-duty production environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble heavy industrial equipment and components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery to fit, align, and secure parts.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet safety and performance standards.

  • Lift, move, and position heavy equipment (up to 50+ lbs) using cranes, hoists, or manual effort.

  • Stand, kneel, bend, and maneuver in various positions to access and assemble components.

  • Collaborate with team members, including welders, machinists, and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or assembly issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial assembly or manufacturing preferred.

  • Experience in heavy industrial assembly or a related field is beneficial.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

  • Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.

  • Must wear steel-toe boots and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards, including OSHA regulations, is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, and crouching in a heavy industrial environment.

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and positioning of heavy equipment and components.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights, as needed.

  • Must be able to wear steel-toe boots and other PPE for the duration of the shift.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position, typically 40-50 hours per week, with potential for overtime.

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

  • Adherence to strict safety protocols and proper use of PPE is mandatory.
