Job Full Description
The Logistics Assistant aids the logistics team in coordinating and monitoring transportation and shipping of boilers, components, and auxiliary equipment. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, they collaborate with warehouse staff, project managers, transport providers, and customer representatives to ensure smooth logistics operations and effective communication.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily truck shipments by liaising with warehouse staff, drivers, and transport crews.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including RFQs, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Assist in compiling master shipping lists.
Experience:
- At least one year of experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Assist in compiling master shipping lists.
