Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to support daily administrative operations in a busy shop environment. This position involves interacting with customers, processing payments, answering phones, and performing general computer-based tasks. The work setting is industrial and may involve exposure to dust, dirt, and general shop activity.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a non-traditional office space, have excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers as they enter the shop

Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately

Process customer payments (cash, card, or electronic) accurately

Perform basic data entry and maintain digital and paper records

Prepare receipts, invoices, and other documentation as needed

Communicate with internal teams to support customer needs

Maintain office supplies and assist with basic organizational tasks

Provide general clerical support to shop staff and management
Qualifications:

Previous customer service or clerical experience preferred

Basic computer skills required (e.g., email, spreadsheets, invoicing software)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain professional and organized in a hands-on, industrial work environment

Comfortable working in a shop setting that may be noisy, dusty, or less formal than a typical office
