Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for accounting, reporting, and reconciliation of investment portfolios in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Record and reconcile investment transactions, including trades, dividends, interest, and corporate actions

Maintain accurate accounting records for various investment vehicles

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports

Perform NAV calculations and investment reconciliations
-
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls
-
Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, and external auditors

Assist with financial statement preparation and audit support

Analyze investment activity and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
2+ years of accounting or investment accounting experience preferred
-
Knowledge of investment instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments)

Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
