Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Battery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing batteries for a variety of applications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and diagnose battery systems for faults or performance issues.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements on battery units.
- Ensure proper installation and safe handling of batteries and related equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in battery maintenance, electrical systems, or related technical field preferred.
- Knowledge of battery types, charging systems, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle battery units safely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
