Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will prepare and clean surfaces using abrasive blasting techniques to remove rust, paint, and other materials, ensuring surfaces are ready for finishing or coating.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces by removing rust, old paint, or debris.
- Inspect work to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain and clean blasting equipment and workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other surface preparation and finishing tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sandblasting, surface preparation, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of abrasive materials, blasting techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
