Job Full Description

We're looking for a skilled Emergency Vehicle Upfitter to join a local team that equips law enforcement, fire, EMS, and government vehicles with the tools that keep our community safe. You'll work hands-on installing and wiring emergency equipment — from lightbars and sirens to radios and consoles — and take pride knowing your work goes out the door on vehicles that matter.

What you'll do

Install emergency lighting systems — lightbars, strobes, grille lights, and interior LEDs

Mount and wire two-way radios, sirens, speakers, and communication equipment

Run and manage wiring harnesses cleanly and safely throughout vehicle interiors

Fabricate and install consoles, partitions, equipment mounting brackets, and storage solutions

Test all installed systems for proper function and troubleshoot any issues before delivery

Read and follow wiring diagrams, work orders, and manufacturer installation specs

What we're looking for

Experience in 12V electrical, automotive wiring, or vehicle upfitting (law enforcement, fire, EMS a plus)

Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and a multimeter

Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional workmanship

Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical documentation

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
