Material Loader
Pay: $16.00 per Hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Material Loader to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with loading materials, maintaining a clean and organized yard, helping customers, and supporting daily operations. This position requires teamwork, attention to safety, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift (training or certification may be provided if needed).
- Clean and maintain the yard and work areas.
- Assist customers by answering questions and helping locate materials.
- Work as part of a team to lift and move heavy materials.
- Use a computer occasionally to look up products, process customer information, or assist customers with orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance from team members.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
