NOW HIRING: AMMONIA REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Location: Abilene, TX
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience working with ammonia refrigeration equipment.
Job Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair refrigeration equipment.

Inspect and maintain compressors, evaporators, condensers, pumps, and valves.

Monitor system pressures, temperatures, and overall performance.

Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.

Follow OSHA, EPA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) safety guidelines.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
-
Previous experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems required.

Strong knowledge of refrigeration equipment and mechanical systems.

Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.

Familiarity with ammonia safety procedures and regulations.

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

RETA certification (CARO/CIRO) preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
