Job Full Description
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Planner to join our client's team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating efficient production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory levels, and manufacturing capabilities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely delivery, minimizing downtime, and optimizing resource utilization across departments.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000 annually
What You'll Do

Plan Production: Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules based on orders, inventory, and capacity.

Coordinate Materials: Work with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials and components are available when needed.

Analyze Capacity: Monitor production capabilities and identify bottlenecks; recommend process improvements.

Manage Orders: Track order progress and make real-time adjustments for priority shifts, delays, or urgent requests.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with teams across production, warehousing, QA, and logistics to keep operations running smoothly.

Control Inventory: Help maintain balanced inventory levels to reduce shortages and overstock situations.

Report & Improve: Generate production reports, analyze performance data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure Compliance: Align production plans with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or logistics

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experiences
-
Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies

APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
-
Familiarity with food manufacturing or regulated production environments.
