Transportation Analyst – Full-Time
Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite at least 3 days/week)
Pay: Starting at $25/hr – open to negotiation based on experience
We’re looking for a Transportation Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting a major client in Frisco, TX. This is a full-time role with a mix of onsite (minimum three days a week) and flexible work. If you have a background in logistics or transportation management and enjoy digging into data, improving processes, and collaborating with clients and carriers, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do:

Monitor transportation performance metrics and use data to dig into root causes of issues.

Manage key processes like shipment planning, freight payment audits, and procurement.

Build and maintain reports that help drive visibility and performance for the client.

Work closely with both the client and internal teams to solve problems and support ongoing initiatives.

Prepare for and participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews with the client.

Look for ways to reduce costs and improve service—then help make those improvements happen.

Stay on top of carrier performance, ensure service levels are met, and help manage relationships and improvement plans when needed.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.

Comfortable presenting information and recommendations to internal and external teams.

Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Access.

A self-starter who enjoys solving problems and looking for better ways to do things.

Able to manage multiple tasks and keep track of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Preferred Background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Transportation preferred (other experience/education combinations considered).

At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.

Familiarity with transportation systems (e.g., i2TMS, CarrierPoint, or similar tools) is a plus.
Performance Goals:
-
95% on-time performance to pick-up appointments.
-
90–95% on-time delivery performance (including carrier-controlled).
-
95% tender acceptance rate for contracted carriers.
