Transportation Analyst (OS&D)
Location: Frisco, TX
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract-to-Hire: Full-time onsite during the contract period. Potential to move to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) upon conversion to permanent.
Position Overview
A growing third-party logistics provider is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Analyst to support a key consumer packaged goods (CPG) client with returns management and OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) processes. This is an onsite role based in Frisco, TX, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely resolution of transportation exceptions by working closely with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for all OS&D and return shipment issues.

Oversee the entire lifecycle of return shipments — from initiation through final resolution.

Coordinate with carriers and customers to resolve discrepancies and collect necessary documentation (PODs, return authorizations, etc.).

Monitor and follow up on outstanding returns and claims, escalating issues as needed.

Maintain accurate records for all return-related activities for audit and reporting purposes.

Communicate status updates to stakeholders across departments.

Support process improvement initiatives to reduce issues and streamline workflows.

Identify patterns in recurring issues that may require systemic fixes or operational changes.
Qualifications
-
1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Prior exposure to OS&D processes or claims management.

Experience supporting CPG or retail clients is preferred.

Knowledge of carrier coordination or freight operations.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

High attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.

Proactive problem-solving mindset and intellectual curiosity.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable with TMS or ERP systems.

Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Customer-first approach with strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
