Receptionist  Temp to Hire

Located in Plano, TX

Salary: $18 per hour

Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

 

Express Employment Professionals in Allen TX is looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to provide essential support to our clients office and production teams.

 

Brief Job Summary:

· Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Human Resources and Accounting departments and management to facilitate the efficient operation of the company

· Hourly, non-exempt, full-time position

 

Typically Reports to:

· Human Resources Director

 

Qualifications:

· Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident.

· Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

· Must have the ability to work efficiently and work well in a team environment.

· Must be punctual and have good attendance.

· Minimum high school diploma or GED, or

· 1-2 years of experience in administrative support and Microsoft Office Suite, and strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

· Must be detail oriented.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience as an administrative assistant

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing office environment

· Familiarity with ERP systems or office management tools

· Familiarity with a multi-line phone system

 

Physical Demands and Activity:

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Lift minimum of 15 pounds

 

 

Main Functions:

· Greet and direct visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

· Answer and route incoming phone calls on a multi-line phone system and take messages or respond to inquiries as appropriate.

· Maintain visitor logs and adhere to company security protocols.

· Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and front office deliveries.

· Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, copying, and document preparation.

· Maintain and order office supplies.

· Schedules meetings and coordinate conference room usage as needed.

· Support HR, accounting, and management with clerical tasks and internal documentation.

· Prepare and monitor reports.

· Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner

· Maintain a clean work area.

· Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company’s mission and commitment statement.

 

Additional Functions:

· Perform other duties as assigned by management

Other details of the job are as follows:

 

Hours: 7:45am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

Dress: Business casual.  Nice jeans or slacks and nice shirt or top are fine.  Nice sandals are ok as well.
