Process Engineering Assistant – Full-Time | Family-Owned, Growing Government Contractor (Plano, TX)
A stable, family-owned manufacturer and growing government contractor in Plano is looking for a Process Engineering Assistant to support and maintain the equipment used in manufacturing printed circuit boards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and being part of a tight-knit, supportive team.
Candidates must pass a background check and drug test.
Pay & Schedule
What You’ll Do
-
Perform preventative maintenance on designated production machines
-
Complete required documentation, including travelers and ESD logs
-
Support the process engineering team with equipment upkeep and troubleshooting
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-
Assist with repairs and mechanical adjustments to keep production running smoothly
What You Bring
-
1–3 years of experience in a sustaining, manufacturing, or process technician role
-
Strong understanding of mechanical processes and industry-specific equipment
-
Ability to perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
-
Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Equipment You’ll Work With
You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of PCB manufacturing equipment, including:

SMT screen printers (EKRA)

Pick-and-place machines (Siemens)

Reflow ovens (BTU)
-
Wave and selective solder machines (Electrovert, Nordson NOVO)

Water wash machine (WesTek)
-
A/C filters, air compressors (Kaiser)
-
Vacuum pumps (Busch)
