Temporary Solderer / Electronics Assembler – Short-Term Assignment (Allen, TX)
We are seeking a skilled Temporary Solderer / Electronics Assembler for a short-term assignment in Allen, TX. This role requires hands-on experience with precision soldering, electronics assembly, basic programming, and functional testing. Candidates must be able to follow detailed technical documentation and perform high-quality work under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision soldering to IPC J-STD-001 standards
- Complete electronics assembly, including PCB work and component installation
- Conduct programming of electronic units as required
- Perform functional testing to ensure completed assemblies meet specifications
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
- Perform PCB rework using both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Thru-Hole techniques
- Assemble and terminate cables using supplied drawings
- Support general electronic and mechanical assembly tasks
- Maintain accuracy, quality control, and adherence to safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven ability to solder to IPC J-STD-001 quality standards
- Experience in SMT and Thru-Hole rework
- Proficiency in electronics assembly and cable assembly
- Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Experience with programming and functional testing of electronic units
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and accurately
