Light Assembly & Cable Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Light Assembly & Cable Technician with experience in high-tech manufacturing environments. This role involves building and assembling cable harnesses, wiring components, and other precision assemblies using industry-standard tools and techniques.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, values quality and productivity, and is comfortable working with soldering equipment and cable assembly tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses and wiring components
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
• Perform cable preparation tasks including:
  • Stripping wires
  • Crimping connectors
  • Soldering connections
  • Terminating cables
• Use tools such as crimpers, soldering irons, and related equipment
• Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Conduct continuity and electrical testing on cables and assemblies
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while meeting production goals

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in light assembly or cable manufacturing in a high-tech environment
• Hands-on experience using:
  • Crimping tools
  • Soldering irons
  • Basic assembly equipment
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Ability to meet production volume expectations while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with electronic or precision components
• Familiarity with testing equipment for electrical continuity
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team environment
