Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Fabricator to build and assemble equipment using metal, plastics, and electronic components. This role requires hands-on fabrication skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with a wide range of tools and materials.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, experienced in manufacturing environments, and capable of supporting both in-house production and on-site customer installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble equipment using:
- Metals
- Plastics
- Electronic components
- Build and assemble complex systems, including refrigeration-related components
- Perform work both at bench level and floor-level installations
- Safely use ladders as required during assembly and installation
- Operate fabrication equipment and tools, including:
- Table saws
- Drill presses
- Grinders
- Hand tools and other shop equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and best practices
- Travel to customer sites (local and interstate) to install and support equipment as needed
- Complete required site-specific safety training prior to installations
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a fabricator in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong hands-on experience working with metal, plastics, and mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency with fabrication tools and shop equipment
- Ability to safely work at varying heights and use ladders
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to travel for customer installations when required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior safety training certifications (OSHA or equivalent)
- Experience with field installations and customer-facing work
- Security clearance (active or previous) is a plus
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus
