Job Title: Bilingual Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Hourly Rate: $17.00-18.00 per hour
1st Shift Hours
Location: Arlington, TX 76015
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will assist with moving materials, maintaining accurate records, and supporting inventory operations. Operate powered forklifts or other material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to efficiently move materials to and from work and storage areas.
Safely operate powered forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed or in the future.
Use computers to record and retrieve information related to inventory and material movement.
Complete necessary paperwork to ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials moved or handled, verifying the accuracy of all items.
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and any issues.
Discuss additional job details and expectations with the client as required.
Qualifications:
Bilingual: English and Spanish
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently.
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to learn and operate forklifts or other equipment if needed.
Prior experience in a warehouse or materials handling environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as needed.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, sometimes in varying temperatures.
