Temporary Inventory Specialist (3-6 Month Assignment)

About the Role:
We are seeking an Inventory Specialist for a 3 to 6 month assignment at our facility. The ideal candidate must have prior inventory experience and will be responsible for receiving, storing, packaging, and distributing aircraft parts and ground support equipment (GSE). This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in all inventory-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect aircraft parts; input data into inventory management systems
- Load/unload shipments and accurately process all related documentation
- Pull, stage, and package parts for outgoing orders, ensuring compliance with customer requirements
- Maintain inventory controls, document part traceability, and update records in company systems
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory management
- Ensure proper labeling and handling of materials
- Support other warehouse and inventory tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1-2 years of inventory experience
- Available to commit to a temporary 3 to 6 month assignment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- US Person status as defined by ITAR Regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Reliable attendance and effective communication
