Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch, 37.50 hours total

Location: Mansfield, TX 76063

Benefits: Health and 401K when hired on

**Must test for insurance license within 90 days. Someone with a lot of driver and want to!! Will train.**

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Receptionist to join our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while handling essential front office and administrative tasks. You’ll play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth communication, and assisting with policy processing.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and Direct Incoming Calls
    Handle phone calls professionally, route to appropriate team members, and take accurate messages as needed.
  • Manage Incoming and Outgoing Communication
    Open, sort, and distribute mail; send and receive faxes, emails, and texts; ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Send Proof of Insurance (Evidence of Coverage)
    Respond to client or lender requests by generating and sending certificates or ID cards via email, fax, or mail.
  • Accept and Process Payments
    Accept client payments in person or over the phone, issue receipts, and document transactions accurately in the system.
  • Complete Quote Sheets
    Assist with gathering and entering client information for quote sheets to support producers or agents.
  • Review Carrier Notifications
    Monitor and review daily carrier updates for policy cancellations, underwriting memos, and policy changes.
  • Handle Undisclosed Drivers Notices
    Identify and flag any new or undisclosed driver notifications for agent follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in insurance or front office administration preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with handling multiple communication channels (phone, email, fax, text)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive client information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism
