Job Title: Delivery Driver
Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (hours may vary depending on the route)
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for local deliveries in the Dallas area using a 20 ft box truck, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to commercial locations.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 20 ft box truck within the Dallas area on a daily route
Prepare delivery materials and verify orders before departure
Load and unload cargo independently
Make deliveries primarily to commercial locations; residential deliveries are rare
Handle both loading and unloading of goods
Communicate with the team regarding any delivery issues or access concerns, especially for residential locations
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic safety checks
Qualifications:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
Strong time management and organizational skills
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols
