This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Feed metal sheets, coils, and other metal products into processing machinery.
- Assist with metal cutting, polishing, buffing, and finishing processes.
- Monitor machine operations and help maintain a steady production flow.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
- Work with the production team to meet daily goals.
Required Qualifications
- Safety-focused: Must follow all safety procedures and work safely around industrial machinery.
- Physical ability: Must be able to stand for at least 6 hours during the shift.
- Lifting requirements: Must be able to lift 50–100 pounds as needed.
- Must have steel-toe shoes.
- Must attend an onsite walkthrough, including one full hour observing the machine feeder and production process, to qualify for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal processing, manufacturing, general labor, or machine feeding.
- Previous forklift or overhead crane experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
Important: Candidates will not operate forklifts or overhead cranes until they are hired permanently.
