Manufacturing Tech Company in North Austin is looking for an Entry Level Test Technician
For this ENTRY LEVEL position, the test technician will help and support the setup of electrical and mechanical testing of the product to ensure quality prior to shipping.
Job Overview:
Contract Job. The role involves supporting the setup of machines for testing. A background working with electrical equipment is preferred.
Pay: $18.24
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM
Duties and Responsibilities
:
· Loads product onto the test line, connects and installs product, performs functional testing, and then de-installs and removes product from test line.
· Works in a team environment to meet schedule requirements and coordinate resources to build a more efficient work environment.
· Works with hand tools as necessary.
· Performs other duties or special projects as required or assigned.
Requirements:
· Electronics/electrical experience preferred.
· Ability to read schematics and understand basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
· Works well with the team on a very diverse and ever-changing set of tasks.
· Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. in weight on a regular basis.
· Ability to push or pull UPS system to load and unload.
· Standing for long periods of time.
