Manor, Texas manufacturing facility is looking for a Facilities Safety Coordinators for multiple shifts to start ASAP!
Schedules
A Shift – 6am to 6pm – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6 hours on Wednesday
B Shift - 6pm to 6am – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6 hours on Wednesday
C Shift - 6am to 6pm – Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6 hours on Wednesday
D Shift - 6pm to 6am – Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6 hours on Wednesday
Pay: $23 - $26 an hour depending on the shift
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Specialist.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, a passion for safety,
and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
*Implement and enforce safety programs, including SDS management, LOTO procedures, PPE standards,
forklift and EPJ safety, and working-at-height protocols.
*Maintain compliance with applicable safety regulations.
*Collaborate with the Facilities team when necessary to address safety or equipment concerns.
*Provide on-call support for emergency situations outside of normal working hours.
Qualifications:
*Proficient in computer skills, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, or Microsoft Office equivalent; email.
*MUST be OSHA 30 certified. Comprehensive understanding of SDS’s, LOTO, PPE, and other safety programs.
*Previous experience in safety-related roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
*Ability to interpret and follow detailed oral or written instructions using common sense.
*MUST be bilingual in Spanish
Physical Requirements:
*Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders.
*Work in a production environment.
