Job Full Description
Our client in Austin is looking for a Shipping Clerk for a part-time contract position that can work effectively in a dynamic environment with rapidly shifting and evolving priorities. This role is responsible for the coordination, movement, control and data accuracy related to shipping small packages and freight. Seeking candidates looking for part-time hours approximately 16 hours per week. This starts as an 8+ month contract position.

Hours: Part-time approximately 16 hours per week 8:00AM -5:00PM Thursdays. In addition to one other day per week.
Length: 8- 10-month contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Description:
· Help receive and properly shelve items for future use
· Unpack, un-palletize, handle, repack, or re-palletize materials
· Help kitting of work ticket items from inventory and prepare them to be shipped out
· Perform cycle counts to monitor accuracy of inventory
· Prepare packing slips, freight bills, and air bills for outgoing materials
· Maintain records and file paperwork in accordance with procedures
· Operate office equipment and scales
Job Requirements:
· 1-2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, or related position
· Ability to operate pallet jack huge plus
· Experience with FedEx Ship Manager Software is a huge plus
· This position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time
· Ability to lift or carry up to 50lbs without assistance
· Highschool diploma/GED
