The person in this role will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes for next generation semiconductor tools, with a focus on defect characterization, mitigation, and metrology support. JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and optimize processes for advanced semiconductor manufacturing tools

Design, execute, analyze, and document experiments using DOE and statistical analysis methods

Operate wafer inspection systems and metrology tools; perform routine maintenance on imprint and metrology equipment

Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and customers to identify requirements and implement defect-reduction strategies

Coordinate and qualify client tools and technologies for specific customer applications

Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide applications support

Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents

Domestic and international travel up to ~10%
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other relevant engineering/physical science discipline

Minimum 3 years of hands-on semiconductor processing experience

Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments) and statistical analysis; proficiency with JMP or similar software

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Lithography experience and prior contributions to patents or patent applications are a plus
-
Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
