Senior Staff Accountant

About the Opportunity
We’re working with an innovative, high-growth technology company seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the close process, and helping scale accounting operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
- Support and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts
- Assist with variance analysis and financial statement preparation
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies
- Partner with cross-functional teams including FP&A and operations
- Assist with external audits and provide documentation support
- Identify and drive improvements in accounting processes and controls
- Contribute to special projects and system implementations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in Big 4 or national public accounting firm preferred
- Exposure to public company or regulated/manufacturing environments a plus
- Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills (CPA preferred)
