Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Beaumont, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our Office Manager, Company Owner, and Shop Foreman with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role will play a key part in keeping our office and shop organized and running efficiently, especially when it comes to parts management and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily office operations and administrative tasks

  • Help locate, purchase, and receive parts for the shop

  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and track inventory

  • Verify accuracy of incoming parts and handle returns when necessary

  • Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)

  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally

  • Create and update job tickets and work orders

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with staff and vendors

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel (will need to complete a skills test)

  • Comfortable using Gmail and navigating basic email functions

  • Solid math skills and comfort working with numbers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read and write English fluently

  • Must be physically able to:

    • Climb stairs and in/out of heavy equipment

    • Occasionally lift items over 10 lbs (note: heavy lifting is usually handled by others)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an office or parts/inventory environment is a plus

  • Familiarity with purchase order systems and inventory tracking
