As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a driven and adaptable Production Manager / All-Around Multitasker to oversee day-to-day production, streamline scheduling, manage purchasing, and optimize our ERP system usage.

 

Position Overview:
This is a hands-on, multifaceted role ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production workflows, purchasing materials, maintaining schedules, and ensuring seamless integration and utilization of our ERP system across departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily production schedule to ensure on-time delivery and efficient workflow.

  • Coordinate with engineering, inventory, and shop floor teams to streamline operations.

  • Manage purchasing of raw materials, components, and supplies from approved vendors.

  • Maintain accurate data and functionality within the ERP system; act as the system’s point of contact.

  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels to support production demands.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks, delays, or inefficiencies in the production process.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.

  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production, operations, or manufacturing management role.

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (implementation, maintenance, and user support).

  • Experience in purchasing and procurement within a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with production planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in mechanical or industrial engineering.

  • Familiarity with ISO or other quality standards.
