Job Full Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Assistant to support our purchasing and accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will have a background in purchasing and/or accounts payable, strong computer skills, and excellent attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for data entry and administrative support within our purchasing department. Specific software training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate and timely data entry of purchase orders, invoices, and related documents

Assist with the coordination of purchasing activities and maintain accurate records

Communicate with vendors and internal departments as needed

Support the accounts payable process by matching purchase orders with invoices

Maintain organized digital and physical records

Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:

Prior experience in purchasing, accounts payable, or a related administrative role

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
