Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Employment Type: Full-Time
Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day support to our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth departmental operations, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication between staff, customers, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to department leadership and staff.

Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional manner.

Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed.

Maintain organized filing systems, databases, and departmental records.

Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and calendar management.

Process invoices, purchase orders, and track departmental expenses.

Support compliance efforts by helping with documentation and reporting requirements.

Serve as a liaison between the department and other internal departments or outside agencies.

Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

2+ years of administrative or clerical experience (utility, municipal, or construction/energy industry experience a plus).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
