Express Professionals Employment of Bedford has partnered with a company that is needing a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.
Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm (Monday thru Friday)
Starting pay: $22hrly
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the routing of import bookings. Both air and ocean
- Coordinate with shippers, truckers, steamship lines, Airlines and overseas offices for the export of shipments.
- Timely preparation of rates and quotes for customers and overseas agents
- Communication of arrival notification.
- Pre-Alerts
- Prepare all necessary shipping documentation related to customs clearance
- Arrange delivery.
Qualifications
- 2 years of logistics and Freight forwarding preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of U.S customs laws and import/export regulations.
