Job Full Description
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established optometry practice in Keller, TX, seeking an experienced Optometric Technician to join their clinical team.
This is a fast-paced, patient-facing role that requires prior hands-on experience in an optometry or ophthalmology setting. The ideal candidate is confident in pre-testing, comfortable working alongside an optometrist, and thrives in a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures prior to patient exams

Accurately collect, document, and input patient test data into charts and systems

Serve as clinical support (line nurse role) for the attending optometrist

Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures clearly and professionally

Maintain a smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the clinic

Deliver a warm, professional, and patient-first experience
Required Qualifications

Previous experience as an Optometric Technician is required

Strong knowledge of pre-testing procedures and clinical workflows

Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills

Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment

Friendly, professional demeanor with strong patient interaction skills

Comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the workday (approximately 90%)
