Job Full Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Temporary Retail Sales Associates to join us for a special event in the Arlington area! If you're a friendly individual with excellent communication skills and retail experience, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate point of sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with confidence. (Please note: associates who are not proficient in cash handling will be sent home without pay.)
- Greet customers warmly and maintain a friendly demeanor.
- Engage with customers to assist them with their orders and product selection.
- Process payments using the POS system while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a positive and approachable attitude throughout the event.
Requirements:
- Must speak fluent English.
- Previous retail sales and cash handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Dress Code:
- Bottoms: Shorts are approved, but must be appropriate length and free of holes.
- Tops: White or black plain t-shirt preferred (no shirts with sayings or graphics).
- Footwear: Comfortable shoes are a must, as you will be on your feet for 8+ hours.
Important Notes:
- No tips from customers are allowed.
- Employees are encouraged to bring their own food and water, as track prices can be expensive.
- No AirPods or headphones are permitted while at work.
- Associates who arrive more than one hour late will be sent home and will not be paid.
