Job Full Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures the accurate and timely handling, documentation, and tracking of goods and materials. The clerk works closely with warehouse staff, suppliers, and carriers to maintain a smooth and efficient shipping/receiving process.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.

Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.

Maintain accurate records of all received and shipped goods.

Load and unload delivery trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand.

Coordinate with carriers and delivery services for pickups and deliveries.

Inspect goods for damages and report discrepancies or damage to appropriate parties.

Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas.

Ensure compliance with all safety and company policies.

Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels.

Work with other departments to coordinate delivery schedules and priorities.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred.

Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, inventory systems).

Forklift experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Pay $11.00-13.00/hr
