They must be fluent in English and Spanish, have computer skills, be responsible and have initiative.
Schedule is M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm, sometimes on Saturdays if needed. Pay will be starting at $14.00/hr
- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- QC is responsible for management of the QA/QC plan and will implement and supervise SQF(Safety Quality Food), and OSHA Standards.
- Coordinate QC activities with the Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Supervisor and Production Manager (HACCP, SQF, OSHA Standards).
- Part of the QA area/team, QA team structure, and QA roles and responsibilities
- Help build a strong QA / QC team through better recruitment, retention, training, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain Retention Samples Inventory (Shelf life of the product)
- Maintain the QA team’s capacity planning, utilization and assignment allocations.
- Conduct Plant inspections, audits and walkthroughs and report any findings.
- Conduct Glass and Brittle Plastic inventories when needed.
- Create COA’s and validate limits with product Specification.
- Create Supplier corrective actions.
- Preparing Pre-shipment samples
- Perform ATP swabs (sanitation and environmental)
- Perform Internal Analysis
- Generate reports for activities as needed.
- Perform other job-related functions as requested by Supervisor.
- As a HAACP team member, is responsible for product safety and quality.
- Have direct contact with 3rd party laboratories.
- File and maintain all reports generated by the department.
