Bookkeeper

We are a growing income tax and accounting firm committed to providing accurate, timely, and professional financial services to our clients. We are seeking a reliable Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, and accounts, ensuring smooth office operations.
Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper will handle general bookkeeping tasks, payroll, accounts payable, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with QuickBooks or Quick In, payroll, and AP processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate client and office financial records.
- Process payroll and related reporting for staff.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with tax preparation.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Support the office with general bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience in an accounting or tax-related environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Quick In.
- Experience with payroll and accounts payable (AP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
