Machinist – Production Warehouse
Location: Brownsville, TX

Position Summary:
The Machinist will perform typical machine shop operations, set up and operate a variety of machines, and follow cutting instructions precisely. This role requires a thorough knowledge of machining, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard machine shop operations with precision.
- Set up and operate various machines, including attachments and accessories.
- Carry out tasks assigned by Lead Person, Design Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer.
- Operate safely and report any hazardous situations immediately.
- Strive for personal improvement and contribute to the growth of the company.
- Review and familiarize yourself with company SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs), particularly those related to this position.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area free of debris.
- Retrieve the appropriate steel and cut the exact length and number of pieces required.
- Understand and follow all cutting instructions accurately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a machinist in a production environment.
- Thorough knowledge of machining processes and machine setup.
- Ability to operate a variety of machines and attachments safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work under direction from engineers and lead personnel.
