Grants Administrator
Position Summary
The Grant Administrator oversees the full lifecycle of grant funding, including research, writing, submission, compliance, and reporting. This role ensures all grant-funded programs are properly managed, meet funding requirements, and align with organizational goals supporting community-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant funding opportunities from government, foundation, and private sources
- Write and submit grant proposals and applications
- Manage active grants, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines
- Track budgets, expenses, and program outcomes
- Prepare required reports for funders and leadership
- Collaborate with program staff to collect data and measure impact
- Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance
- Support renewal and continuation of existing grants
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience in grant writing or grant management in a nonprofit or public service setting
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools
