Express Employment in Harlingen is looking for a Human Resources Generalist for a client in Weslaco. Some of the responsibilities are:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire paperwork processing
- Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR documentation
- Provide day-to-day support for employee relations issues and questions
- Help enforce company policies and ensure consistent application across departments
- Track attendance, timekeeping, and basic payroll-related adjustments as needed
- Assist supervisors with coaching, documentation, and corrective action processes
- Support compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations
- Help coordinate training, safety compliance, and workforce development initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR experience preferred (manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of the organization
- Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment, including production floor exposure
- Organized, dependable, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

- Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment
- Fast-paced setting with frequent interaction with production teams and supervisors
- Must be flexible and responsive to operational needs
