Job Full Description
1st shift - 7am to 3pm $10
2nd shift - 3pm to 11pm $11
- Operate a variety of machines including boring mills, drill presses, and milling machines
- Perform a wide range of machines, hand and bench operations
- read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- use basic mathematical calculations to complete machining tasks accurately
- work from sketches and verbal instructions as required
- set up machines independently and design or fabricate special adapters when necessary
- Use and calibrate handheld measuring tools such as measuring tapes, calipers and micrometers
- maintain accuracy and quality standards during all machining processes
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand numerical measurements
