Bilingual Shipping and Receiving / Sitdown Forklift Needed!
A growing company in the Farmers Branch area is looking to add a Shipping & Receiving Associate to their team!
Must be Bilingual (English & Spanish) as the majority of co-workers only speak Spanish but must interface with English speaking customers.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM, M-F and mandatory OT when needed
Pay: $20/hr
Shipping & Receiving Associate Responsibilities:
- Operate sitdown forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documents
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors
- Process and record received goods in the ERP or warehouse management system
- Prepare outgoing shipments including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels
- Coordinate with carriers, freight companies, and internal teams for pickups and deliveries
- Stage finished goods and materials for shipment
- Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and packaging standards
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock verification
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams regarding shipment status
Shipping & Receiving Associate Requirements:
- Previous shipping and receiving experience required
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems required
- Sit-Forklift and pallet jack experience required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Good communication skills
