TIG Welder (Pipe / Pressure Vessel Preferred)
Pay: $20–$30 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time
Start of Interviews: January 6
Location: Corpus Christi / Local Area
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder for an industrial project. Candidates must demonstrate advanced pipe welding skills and pass a radiographic (X-ray) weld test as a condition of employment.
Weld Test Requirement (Mandatory)
To qualify for employment, candidates must pass the following X-ray weld test:
Failure to pass radiographic inspection will result in disqualification.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven TIG welding experience in an industrial environment

Ability to properly perform back gouging to ensure full penetration and weld integrity
-
Experience welding pipe in the 6G position

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols

Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Responsibilities

Perform TIG and Stick welding on carbon steel pipe

Execute proper back gouging techniques as required by weld procedures

Maintain weld quality to meet X-ray and inspection standards

Follow all safety, quality control, and jobsite procedures

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
