Sub Arc Pipe Welder (Industrial / Pressure Piping)
Pay: $20–$30 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Submerged Arc Pipe Welder for an industrial piping project. Work will involve precision welding of carbon steel pipe to industry standard specifications. Candidates must demonstrate expertise with the SAW process, maintain quality welds, and be able to pass required weld testing and inspection.
Weld Test and Inspection Requirement (Mandatory)
To qualify for employment, candidates must pass a weld test for carbon steel pipe using the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) process. Welds will be subject to visual and nondestructive inspection (such as X-ray or UT) consistent with industrial quality standards, with failure to pass resulting in disqualification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience operating Sub Arc welding equipment in an industrial pipe environment

Ability to interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), blueprints, and weld symbols

Strong understanding of industrial code welding practices and nondestructive inspection (e.g., X-ray/UT)

Ability to set up, operate, monitor, and adjust SAW parameters

Effective verbal communication and adherence to safety standards

Reliable transportation and strong attendance
