We are seeking an experienced Parts Technician to support valve, actuation, and process automation equipment repair operations. This role is ideal for someone with industrial experience who understands parts allocation, inventory tracking, and system transactions in a fast-paced shop environment.
This is a hands-on role that requires both mechanical knowledge and strong computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate part information against material requirements in company systems
- Allocate and track parts for repair jobs
- Receive and bin locate ordered parts
- Coordinate with service, buyers, assembly, and inventory teams
- Ensure system transactions are completed before release to assembly
- Label and organize product as needed
- Lift, load, and move materials between work areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial or related field
- Valve, instrumentation, or process automation experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Ability to read prints and schematic drawings
- Mechanical and/or electrical background preferred
- Strong computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, job tracking)
- Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must wear required PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)
